Cold & Flu Remedy

Your Body needs to be Slightly Alkaline to be Healthy
this Juice is Alkaline Forming in Your Body

Items Needed:

4 Grapefruit - Ruby Reds are sweetest
Soup Kettle with one gallon of water - ready on stove

  • Wash 4 whole grapefruit - cut into Quarters (leave skin on-the remedy is in the rind!)
  • Put cut grapefruit in kettle of 1 gallon water
  • Cover pot
  • Bring Water & Grapefruit to a boil
  • Reduce Heat and simmer for 45 minutes
  • Cool Covered (about 4 - 6 hours)
  • Squeeze juice out of grapefruit and throw rinds away
  • Refrigerate the Remedy
  • Drink 6 oz. of the remedy every 2 hours for the first three days you have a cold or the flu, longer if you have symptoms of bronchitis or sinus infection
  • Then 4 times a day until symptoms are gone
  • Suggestion: Eat one thin slice of orange after drinking Remedy to cut the bitter taste
  • Avoid salt, sugar, and red meat while you are sick (they are acid forming in your body)
  • Eat lots of fruit for the first four days
  • Drink plenty of water - Drink 2/3 oz. of water per pound of body weight per day. (fruit juices, lemonade and sodas are NOT water to your body)
